‘Grief is a circular staircase and I have lost you’
A personal piece of work - after suffering a recent pet loss, Yaz created this piece, in combination with a quote from the poem ‘The Five Stages of Grief’ by Linda Pastan. The additional element of the golden spiral or Fibonnaci’s spiral, is a hark to the circular staircase part of the quote but also a reminder that everything in nature follows this golden ratio and that life and death are cyclical processes.
