Within the work below, Yaz illustrates the flora and fauna of the New Forest - a place near and dear to her and a definite inspiration for the common theme throughout her portfolio. The work comprises of an illustrated calendar, postcards, gifting cards, posters, prints, and speculative imagery for commercial contexts. This being her first foray into decorative work for commercial purposes proved to be particularly challenging - navigating rejections and the technicalities of creating work for a consumer.
